OneFile Eportfolio Software Update: Tuesday 29th April 2025
On Tuesday, we're updating OneFile Eportfolio, to introduce some enhancements and fixes.
Please ensure you are logged out of your Eportfolio account before 7am to prevent any data loss.
New Features
Scorecard
It is now possible to select values in the scorecard using the number keys on the keyboard.
Timesheets
The timesheet page filtering has been improved to include the ability to filter by Timesheet Category and Off-The-Job.
Settings
A new centre setting, “Apply to new learners,” has been introduced. It will automatically tick the "Assessors may optionally sign on behalf of this learner" setting against any new learners.
Registers
A new permission, "Can view all classes when assigning learners to a register," has been introduced. This permission applies to registers only and enables an assessor or trainee assessor to view and select classes that do not include any learners they are assigned to.
IV Processes
It is now possible to archive IV processes. Once archived, they will no longer appear in the list of processes on the Unit Sampling page unless they have already been selected.
Units
The assessor and IV dropdowns on a learner's units tab are now sorted alphabetically by surname.
Framework Templates
The “Default Unit Start date” field has been removed from the Create Framework Template and Edit Framework Template pages.
A unit's planned start date is now defaulted to the start date of the learning aim. If a learning aim's start or end date is changed, the unit dates will also be updated. The user will be asked to confirm this before updating unit dates.
Bug Fixes
- Unable to arrange elements within a VLE course in the grid next to each other.
- When the Turnitin similarity report is opened from Eportfolio, the results of the AI check are not displayed
- Progress Report does not calculate correctly when a learning aim does not have a weighting.
- Registers filter showing archived learners.
- An error occurs when an assessor tries to edit the feedback section against a learner’s unit summary element.
- When copying text from any external source into the assessment feedback/comments box, the formatting of the text is lost.
These changes aren't guaranteed to be included in this update. Any changes to the above planned updates will be communicated in this thread!
