Software Update - Tracker: Wednesday 10th July 2024

Tracker v24.7.1 Release Notes

We are happy to announce the release of the first phase of our enhanced integrations between Tracker ILR and Eportfolio.

These integrations are being developed to streamline the learner data journey between front-line assessment staff and ILR data teams, reducing administration and ensuring data accuracy.

All updates sent from Eportfolio to Tracker will be approved by a Tracker user before any ILR data is changed. This ensures providers remain in complete control of their ILR data and submissions.

This first phase focuses on Breaks In Learning;

Notifying Tracker of a Break In Learning

Restarting a learner following a Break In Learning

Cancelling a Break In Learning that had been processed in error

This functionality can be activated using the OneFile Eportfolio Events menu;

  • As a Centre Manager, click the Centre menu item & then click the Integrations option

  • In the Events Subscriptions box, click on the Go to events button

  • In the OneFile Events box, click on the Go to onefile events button

Within the Applicants & Learners area there will be 3 options related to processing Breaks In Learning that can be chosen;

After selecting these options, when you add a Break In Learning under the Episode for a learner, Eportfolio will send this data to Tracker ready to be approved.

To approve these updates you will need to log in with a Project Admin user account, and you will have access to a menu item titled Integration Approval;

Clicking this menu item will then display any learners who have updates awaiting approval;

From here you will have the option to accept or reject potential updates. When you accept an update, all required fields that are required to be set in the ILR to reflect the Break In Learning will be updated. This process can also be followed for restarting learners, and deleting Breaks In Learning that have been previously accepted but need to be removed.
