On Thursday, we're updating OneFile Eportfolio, API, Login and Events to introduce some new enhancements and fixes.

Enhancements

Login

• Clicking on the Microsoft Auth button on the login page causes a 500 error when the user has not already linked their Microsoft account to their keychain. 

Eportfolio

• One or more of a learner’s disabilities, learning difficulties, and/or health problems can now be recorded against a learner’s episode or profile. As part of this update, any existing disability and learning difficulty data has been mapped to the new LLDD categories. The Primary and other LLDDs will be populated with the new values. The below rules apply when completing the new information:
  * If a learner considers themselves to have a LLDD or health problem and the associated status is selected, then a Primary LLDD must also be chosen.
  * If the learner does not consider themselves to have a LLDD or health problem, or if no information is provided, then an LLDD category cannot be selected.
  * In cases where the data is not valid, a warning message will be displayed on the page. 
• A new LLDD and Health Conditions report has been added to the Learner Equality Reports.
• Any value greater than 0 can now be entered into the episode duration field. (The minimum value was previously 5)
• When the setting "Open PDF files in a new tab" is turned on, PDF attachments opened from an assessment are displayed in the same browser tab as Eportfolio.

API

• A learner's LLDD information can be populated through the API. The “User” API endpoint has been updated to accept the primary and other LLDD categories. If the data provided to the endpoint is not valid, an error message will be raised. The codes accepted by the endpoint can be found here.  More information on the OneFile API can be found here.  The endpoint will still accept the old values provided using the L15 and L16 fields. However, this information will be mapped to the new LLDD categories and populated in the primary or other fields. 

Events

• The Update Learner Event has been modified to incorporate the new LLDD data from Eportfolio. Consequently, when a learner is updated in Eportfolio or ILR, the corresponding learner record in ILR or Eportfolio will also be updated. 
• The Update Learner Event from ILR to EP has been enhanced to update the new LLDD fields in EP from ILR
• The Update Learner event from EP to ILR has been updated to include the new LLDD fields in EP

Fixes

Login

• Clicking on the Microsoft Auth button on the login page causes a 500 error when the user has not already linked their Microsoft account to their keychain.

Eportfolio 

• When the setting "Open PDF files in a new tab" is turned on, PDF attachments opened from an assessment are displayed in the same browser tab as Eportfolio.
• The message count in the side menu displays a different number of unread messages than shown in the message list. This issue occurred when feedback was provided by an employer via a magic link.
• The Learner Database Report shows duplicate rows for learners.
