[4921] Unable to scroll when setting outcomes/criteria to a plan task on Microsoft Edge

Description:

When using Microsoft Edge, the pop-up modal when setting outcomes/criteria on a plan task isn't scrollable.

This problem is an issue with the Microsoft Edge browser.

Temporary Solution:

Use a different browser, e.g. Google Chrome.

Update:

Microsoft are rolling out an update to Microsoft Edge that we believe will resolve this problem. We'll post an update when we've confirmed the issue is resolved.

  • Microsoft have released early access to the new version of Microsoft Edge. You can download it by clicking here.

This update will automatically be included in a future Windows Update, at which point, we will mark this issue as resolved.

  • This problem is still active March 2020 so update has not yet been rolled out.

  • Here's an update from an extract in the Micorosoft Edge blog:

Automatic rollout and update roadmap for consumers

If you’d prefer not to install Microsoft Edge manually, you can wait for it to be installed in a future update to Windows 10, following our measured roll-out approach over the next several months. We will start to migrate Windows 10 customers to the new Microsoft Edge in the coming weeks, starting with a subset of Windows Insiders in the Release Preview ring.

Enterprise and education users will not be automatically upgraded at this time. Contact your administrator for more information on updating to the new Microsoft Edge in your organization. Administrators should refer to the “Enterprise updates and options” section below.

For the time being, you can either switch to a different browser (e.g. Chrome) or manually install the new version using the link from the post dated 27th Jan.

  • Over the last 6 months, Microsoft have began to roll out updates to the Chromium version of Microsoft Edge. Therefore, we are going to mark this post as resolved.

If you still haven't received the latest version of Microsoft Edge via a Windows update, you can always manually download the update here.
