Opening a learner's Support Profile

✨New feature alert

The Inclusion Module is available from Thursday, 30th July 2026.

Overview

The Support Profile is where you view and manage everything for one learner. Open it by clicking a learner's name on the Learners tab; you'll land on the Overview tab, which summarises everything else in the module.

Quick Summary

  • The tab strip runs in a fixed order and only shows tabs you can access.
  • The learner identity header stays visible as you move around.
  • Summary chips and tiles jump you to each area.

The tab strip

Follows a fixed order: Overview, Learner Characteristics, Learning Styles & Preferences, Wellbeing Check-ins, Barriers & Support Needs, Evidence of Support Need, Support Plans, Additional Support Events, Support Delivery and Support Reviews. If it doesn't fit on screen, select the “…” (more) option to open the full list in a side panel.

Getting around

  • A back link above the header returns you to where you came from, preserving your filters and scroll position.
  • The Learner Identity Header shows the learner's photo, name and status chip.
  • Select View learner details for a side panel with programme details — Main Learning Aim, Class, Current Status, dates, Default Assessor, Support Coordinator, Placement and Employer.

Support Summary and tiles

Below the header: Active Adjustments, Learning Styles and Learner Characteristics as clickable chips, plus a tile grid (Wellbeing Check-ins, Barriers to Learning, Support Needs, Support Plans and Additional Support) — each takes you to its detail tab.

Tips & Notes

  • Only the tabs you have permission to see appear — there are no greyed-out or disabled tabs.
  • The back link preserves your filters and scroll position.
