Does Onefile See or Store Our Data?
No. Onefile only stores your Tenant ID, Workspace ID, and display name. Report data remains within your Power BI environment.
Can Staff See Reports They Shouldn't?
No. Users only see reports they already have permission to access in Power BI.
Do We Need Additional Licences?
Users require Power BI Pro or Power BI Premium Per User licences unless the workspace is hosted on Premium or Fabric capacity.
Will Onefile Build Reports for Us?
No. The integration is designed to display reports you have already created and published in Power BI.
What Does Our IT Team Need To Do?
- Approve Microsoft Entra consent.
- Provide the Tenant ID.
- Provide the Workspace ID.
- Grant users access to the Power BI workspace.
How Do Users Sign In?
Users sign in using their own Microsoft account. If they already use Microsoft sign-in with Onefile, access is usually seamless.
