Overview

The Forum feature allows Centres to create discussion spaces for learners and staff. Forums can be restricted to specific groups or users and are useful for announcements, collaboration, and shared learning activities in Onefile Eportfolio.

Who Can Use This Feature?

This feature can be used by:

  • Centre Manager

Centre Setting

  • Enable Forums must be turned on.

Steps

How to Create a Forum

  1. Click Forum on the left navigation bar.
  2. Click Create Forum.
  3. Add a Title for the forum.
  4. Select permissions for Group(s) who should access the forum.
  5. Select permissions for individual User(s) if needed.
  6. Click Save.

Tips & Notes

  • Forums can be used for group announcements, shared learning discussions, or centre‑wide communication.
  • Group and user permissions ensure the right members have access to each forum.
  • Only Centre Managers can create and manage Forums.
