Upcoming System Update: Eportfolio & Learning Journal

On Wednesday, 3rd September 2025, we’ll be rolling out a series of enhancements to Eportfolio and the Learning Journal aimed at improving usability, accuracy, and the overall experience for both learners and assessors.

Notes

The Notes icon is located within the learners portfolio and contains private notes that are not visible to the learner.

  User Roles

This feature can be used by the following user roles:

  • Centre Manager
  • Internal Quality Assurer 
  • Assessor
  • Employer

To create a Note follow the below steps:

  1. Access learner portfolio
  2. Click Notes Icon 
  3. Click Create Note
  4. Title note 
  5. Select who can see by checking checkbox
  6. Add Note text
  7. Select File (Optional)
  8. Click Save 

Reports

All Notes added can also be exported in a CSV format by clicking the Export option.

The Notes report can also be located by navigating to the Learner Reports section within the main reporting suite.

Please note that the terminology used in this article may be different depending on your Centre.
