Overview
The Turnitin integration allows centres to run plagiarism checks on learner submissions directly within Onefile. Before enabling this feature, you must contact your Onefile Account Manager to ensure your account correctly configured.
Who Can Use This Feature?
- Centre Manager
Centre Settings
No additional centre settings are required, but Turnitin credentials must be obtained from Turnitin and validated within Onefile.
Steps to Enable Turnitin Integration
Step 1: Open Integrations
- Click Centre in the navigation menu.
- Click Integrations.
- Click Go to Integrations.
Step 2: Configure Turnitin
- Click Configure next to Turnitin.
- Enter the following details:
- Tenant URL
- Turnitin Domain
- API Key
- Click Test Configuration to verify the connection.
- Tick Enable.
- Click Save.
API Key & URL
- The API Key and Tenant URL are provided directly by Turnitin.
- If you are unsure where to find these, contact your Turnitin administrator or support team.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | Solution |
|---|---|
| Test Configuration fails | Check your API Key, Tenant URL, and Turnitin Domain match those provided by Turnitin. |
| Integration not saving | Ensure all required fields are completed before clicking Save. |
✅ Tip: If Turnitin fails to connect even with correct details, wait a few minutes and try again — it may be a temporary outage on Turnitin’s side.
