It's usually best practice to plan for assessments with the learner. However, to create an unplanned assessment and add evidence, follow the steps below:
Navigate to the learner’s portfolio
- Click Assessments
- Click Create Assessment
- Select the Primary Method from the drop-down list
- Select how you want the evidence to be recorded
- Select Assessor to start
- Click Start
Please note - When selecting Assessor to start, the assessment will be created for the Assessor to provide evidence. If you select the Learner to start option, the learner can provide evidence.
If you can’t see the Assessment icon, it’s because the units relating to the Learner’s learning aims haven’t been fully saved. Centre Managers or Assessors with the relevant permissions can select and save units within the Learner’s portfolio.
